When visiting the Crystal Coast, several of our attractions are only accessible by boat. If you would like a tour to Cape Lookout Lighthouse or Shackleford Banks the Local Yokel Ferry is the place to visit. Here you will have the opportunity to ride a passenger ferry boat owned and operated by the locals. You can visit the lighthouse, Shackleford banks, see the wild ponies, go dolphin watching, shell collecting, camping, fishing, and much more! You can also hear the history of the area with a true accent. If you are shell hunters or just looking for a private beach, due to our location we offer some unique options!
